Review: Influenster #TLCVoxBox
So Influenster sent me the #TLCVoxBox to try out and review! Inside was a coupon for a free Breyers Gelato Indulgences, Shell Fuel Rewards Network card, Puffs to Go, Neosporin Neo to Go, Ivory Bar Soap and Avon Anew Reversalist Express Wrinkle Smoother. Oh by the way, if you want an Influenster invite just leave me your email and I’ll send one out to you!
Breyers Gelato Indulgeces Vanilla Caramel
I’d seen these online in random ads. I hadn’t really given any thought to actually trying them. I just kind of figured it was going to be meh gelato. Man I was wrong. I chose the Vanilla Caramel because I know everyone likes vanilla ice cream and caramel. Ohmygosh. It was SO good. The kiddo’s and I finished it in just a couple of days. It’s really rich and creamy and just amazingly delicious. It had lots of caramel drizzled all over it, but it also had these yummy caramel shavings! It was so good. I want to try the other flavors. I’d like to grab the raspberry this time. I’m really glad Influenster sent this coupon. It retails for $4.99 at our local grocery store, so it’s not expensive. It’s well worth the price!

Shell Fuel Rewards Network card
Unfortunately I haven’t used the fuel card. I don’t have a car and I don’t drive. I gave it to my mom and signed up online for it, but she doesn’t buy gas at Shell. We have a limited amount of funds and the Shell stations here just cost a lot.
Puffs to Go
So I received the Puffs to Go in Lotion Plus. I’ve used many brands of tissue and I’ve used other Puffs brand tissue. The Lotion Plus is so much softer. The kiddo’s and I have allergies, which results in either constantly drippy noses or horrible stuffed up noses. I’ve kept these in my purse and on several occasions it’s saved me from snot monster children. Puffs also came out with a Puffs soft pack, which I haven’t actually see in person, but I’m going to hunt them down to try once we run out of the tissue boxes we already have. The Puffs to Go packs retail for around $3 depending on the store here.
NEOSPORIN + Pain Relief NEO TO GO! First Aid Antiseptic/Pain Relieving Spray
So this spray was super handy this summer. In case you don’t know, Fumiko was born with my grace. Meaning she can trip over her own feet on the carpet and injure herself in ways you can’t imagine. So while playing outside with friends she gets hurt constantly. This was great the few times she skinned her knees falling, and her new shoes gave her horrible blisters. Within minutes of spraying it on her wounds she was totally fine and back out the door. I only wish it lasted longer. We ran out of it really fast. This retails for around $6 depending on the store.

Ivory Bar Soap
So I’ve never used Ivory before. When we first got it I let Fumiko use it for soap in the bathtub/shower. She really liked it and it didn’t irritate her skin like some soaps do. Before the poor bar disappeared I decided to try microwaving it, because seriously it looked cool. So I microwaved it and it blew up into this weird foam. Fumiko was just crazy excited over it. Sascha thought it was cool but lost interest quickly. I ended up microwaving it a few time at Fumiko’s request. Finally when she was done with it we crumbled it up and it turned into a powder. I’ve been making our own laundry soap for a couple of years now, so I just added it to what I had made up. It was SO much easier to turn into powder than other bars of soap. I usually spend a stupid amount of time grating the soap. I’ve used the food processor too, but it just makes a horrible mess. This? I can microwave it and turn it into powder easily with my hands. So yes, next batch is going to be made out of Ivory. I seriously never would have even tried it if I hadn’t received it in my Vox Box. The bars of soap retail for for about $1.80 for 3 bars and around $4.99 for 10 bars. It has a pH of 9.5.

Avon Anew Reversalist Express Wrinkle Smoother
First let me say, I don’t have any wrinkles so testing this out was a bit… hard. I can’t attest to the wrinkle smoothing abilities. I can however say that this product is definitely translucent. It leave the skin where you pat it very soft and smooth, it also helped diffuse the look of my pores a little. I used it over my moisturizer but under my bb cream. It didn’t affect the application of the bb cream at all. Overall this product did what it claimed outside of wrinkle smoothing.

Overall this was a good Vox Box. I thoroughly enjoyed the Breyers Gelato. The tissue and Neo to Go came in handy on more than one occasion. The Avon Wrinkle Smoother is nice to help diffuse the look of my pores. Hopefully I don’t get wrinkles anytime soon. The Shell rewards card was unfortunate. It’s just so expensive here, and we have limited funds. The bar of Ivory was really fun. I don’t dig the smell of it, but it’s not awful and I can deal with it. It’ll definitely save me much time and pain when I make laundry soap again, and it entertained the kids at the same time!
