Review: Citrus Clear Tangerine Tingle
The Tangerine Tingle Face Scrub is so much fun! It can be used as a face wash or a face mask. The longer you leave it on the more it tingles! The tingling action is from the ingredients in the scrub doing two things: (1) removing dead skin cells, and (2) stimulating production in new, fresh skin cells. Contains gentle exfoliating ingredients which remove oil, dirt, and impurities. Contains glycolic acid which exfoliates dead skin cells and keeps pores from clogging. Lemon oil helps improve and brighten complexion.
- Exfoliates dead skin cells
- Contains brightening glycolics and lemon ingredients for glowing skin
- Natural fun tangerine scent
- Tingles when left on skin for over 30 seconds
Where to buy
From Citrus Clear – You get a 2 ounce jar for $18.99 USD.
Wash face with warm water. As a face wash, use circular motions to gently exfoliate skin. As a mask, allow product to remain on skin for 2-4 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Some users may experience a slightly reddish appearance after use. This is to be expected from the citrus extracts and glycolics in the scrub. The redness may last for 1-5 minutes, before disappearing into fresh, new skin.
This comes in a clear glass jar with a white screw on cap. There is a seal to remove when you first get it. The label has company and product information. The cap has an orange sticker on it.
Scent and formula
This stuff is kind of cool. It’s like a squishy jelly! It has jojoba beads in it so it’s gritty for exfoliation, but it’s so fun to poke. It smells like tangerine/mandarin soda. I’m not kidding, you can smell fizz. It’s just so much fun. I am not 3. Don’t judge me.

So I was contacted in May by someone from Citrus Clear asking if I’d like to try out their products. I checked out their site and thought the products looked nice so I said yes. I decided to try the Tangerine Tingle, which I’m reviewing now and another product which I will be reviewing shortly. They sent the products out pretty quickly and I have been trying them out for awhile. The Tangerine Tingle is absolutely fabulous. It’s a super fun product and it works well. The texture is bouncy and jelly like and squishy and it’s just fun to play with. But it cleanses and exfoliates well when used as a scrub. My skin feels super smooth after using it like this. When used as a mask and left on for a few minutes it gets a little tingly and it’s cooling. After use my skin feels smooth and supple and it’s glowy. It just looks fresh and healthy and feels awesome. It’s been awhile since I’ve found a product that is fun to use and works really well. I like this stuff a lot. It needs to come in a bigger jar!
So overall I’m extremely happy with this product and also really grateful that Citrus Clear contacted me to try out their stuff. I probably never would have found this to try if they hadn’t. Also I mentioned way up there ^ that this smells like tangerine/mandarin soda. It really does. It smells so freaking good. It smells fizzy and reminds me of a soda I use to drink as a child. It’s delicious guys. Also I will be doing a post about the company soon. It’s a nice little company. I hadn’t heard of it before, but I’m really digging their products.
If you like this post do me a favor and like it up there on the top right!
