Where to buy
From Amazon – You get a salad spinner for $24.99 USD.
Salad spinner comes in a cardboard box with product and company information. The spinner is a clear acrylic bowl with a white plastic basket inside. The lid is white plastic and has a green lever with locking button on it as well as a stop button.
This is my first salad spinner and so far I am pleased. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. It’s easy enough to use that my 7 year old likes doing it. You just place the basked of wet lettuce inside the clear bowl and then place the top on and start pressing down on the green handle. After a few minutes of spinning you can take the lid off and lift out the basked and pour the dirty water in the sink. Salad is fairly dry after a few minutes. It also has a stop button which you can press to stop it from spinning. You are supposed to be able to push the handle down and lock it but the button that you’re supposed to slide to lock the handle won’t work. It’s not a huge problem for us because I don’t store lettuce in it. We usually eat it all. That was the only issue with this. It’s fairly sturdy for the price and it works well. It does hold a decent amount of lettuce. There are 3 people in my household and this hold way more than enough for all of us for dinner.
