So life has been full of interesting things recently. We’re getting things over at the other house finished up. This weekend is a yard sale. We’re hoping to make some money to go towards bills. What doesn’t sell is being given to the church. My health has been up and down, mostly down. I am finally starting to feel like a human being again. The migraines aren’t getting better, but the pain is a little more manageable right now. Though my right hand/arm has started to randomly twitch. A friend of ours from California, Ben is going to be moving up. He’s going to stay in Sascha’s room and pay $250 a month for rent. So that will help. It’s hard barely making enough to cover bills, let a lone food and gas. *sigh* We had to borrow money from Kai’s grandfather last month to be able to pay rent. :/ Kai just didn’t make enough to cover it. It’s frustrating because we aren’t out blowing our money, it literally all goes to bills. But anyways. I am starting to feel a little better so hopefully I’ll actually be able to blog on a semi regular basis. There just hasn’t been much to say, and I’m sure no one wants to hear about how I’m feeling in every blog post.

Sascha is doing really well with his Dad and grandparents. He’ll be starting up school soon. He’s growing up and getting bigger. He’s reading pretty well now. Last time we talked to him on Skype he didn’t feel like reading for us but maybe he will on Sunday. We shall see. Fumiko is doing her usual… thing. She’s extremely energetic and active and into everything. She’s talking a lot more now, so it’s much easier to communicate. Clan Tata, aka our 4 friends from California are coming up on the 5th I think to help Ben move up. Three will go home and one will stay. Should be a fun time minus the fact that we probably won’t have food so they’ll be starving. >.> Sorry guys. Kai wanted to do a little barbecue while they were here, but that ain’t gonna happen. After paying bills we have $0 money. Sometimes it sucks that Kai works on commissions, sometimes it’s really nice, but mostly right now it really sucks.

Also, has anyone noticed you only see Mesothelioma commercials at night? Maybe it’s just the channels we watch, but I swear I never notice them during the day…

She’s getting so big. Some days I see her as my baby, other days I see her as her own person, albeit a miniature person, but still. She’s so particular, she knows what she wants and how she wants it, and my gosh does she know what she likes. She’s talking more and more and putting words together. I just can’t believe it some times.

Well I’m not quite sure, week, month, month and a half? It’s been one hell of a something. I have to apologize for the reviews I still have to get up. I haven’t been well. My lyme disease has decided to take over my life and it’s all I can do to function for Fumiko right now. It’s gotten bad enough that I am considering going in to talk about getting back on a muscle relaxer and pain pill. I don’t know if this is just an overly painful temporary flare up, or if it has reached a milestone and just gotten worse. Only time will tell for me. For now my pain is more intense than usual, the migraines happen daily and are so bad that I see flashes of random color, sometimes part of or all of my vision goes black, the muscle twitches/shakes are more frequent and last longer, and light touch feels like a charlie horse down to my bone. On top of it all I miss Sascha so badly. I want to call every day, or talk to him on Skype every day. But when I talk to him I just want to scream come home and cry. So I’ve not tried to contact him much. I’m trying to deal with it and be okay, but it’s hard with all that I am dealing with.

He’s growing up so fast. I feel like I’m losing my little boy. Maybe it’s just me and I’m slightly crazy(okay I am, but still) but him growing up is ever so slightly painful for me. I love him, I want him to grow up to be happy and healthy, but at the same time, it hurts to seem him grow up and it hurts to lose those little things that I will never have with him again because he won’t be a little boy. He’s going to be 9 soon. Soon after that he’s going to be 10, 11, 12, and then he’s going to be a teen. He’s going to reach that point in his life where he needs to do things on his own, without Mommy there to catch him. He’s going to want to be his own person, and live his own life. I’m going to have to let him go and hope that I’ve done my job in a way that he still wants me there and trusts me enough to confide in me. I don’t want to lose my little boy, even though I know it’s inevitable it still hurts.

We have Fumiko who is still my baby, but she is her own person, just as Sascha is his own person. They are so different. I felt the same way with Fumiko when she stopped nursing. I was happy and relieved as it was hard on my health, but I miss it too. I miss having that closeness to her and the bonding, I miss the innocence and her being a baby. She’s now a toddler who never stops and is well on her way to being potty trained and she’s still learning new words every day. I don’t want any more children, but I still have a longing to have my baby’s back. Ugh. A Mother’s love is so bittersweet. Each new milestone brings new and often times conflicting feelings. Am I the only one who feels this way? I know I can’t be the only one who has a hard time seeing her children grow up.

The good people at Good Vibrations sent me the Girls Nite In Kit. I was excited to receive it since it was something fun but more than just a vibrator. This little kit includes a basic little bullet vibe called the Magic Touch Mini Bullet, Touch Me Massage Oil in Pomegranate Mint, Please Pleasure Cream, Please Cream Lube, and Please Gel Lube. Now keep in mind these are all sample sizes, but the Please Pleasure Cream is a little jar which lasts a while. The Please Pleasure Cream is a nipple and clit stimulating cream that has a sort of citrus mint smell. The Massage Oil has a very pleasant sort of fruity sort of floral scent. I am fairly sensitive to scents so it was a little strong for me, but it smelled good nonetheless. The Cream Lube is a water based, glycerin free super creamy and velvety lube that has pretty much no scent. The Gel Lube is a water based, glycerin free gel lube that is very thick and designed to stay where you put it. The mini bullet is your basic waterproof bullet vibrator, it is silver with a black ring above the base and rotates to turn off and on. It’s about 2 1/4″ long and it requires 3 watch batteries which thankfully are included. This whole kit was super cute. It came in a sort of almost see through plastic Chinese take out box with a little silver handle.

This little kit is great. I was super excited to receive it. If only my period hadn’t decided to grace me with its presence for 10 days. The first thing out of this kit that we used was the massage oil. I used it on my husband since I wasn’t able to really make use of the other products yet. The oil is very nice actually. The scent is strong but it smells good so it wasn’t an issue. A little big seems to go a long way and it isn’t super oily once you start rubbing it in. It doesn’t completely absorb like some oils that you have to continually reapply either. It does have a little bit of a warming sensation but it’s not strong, which in my opinion is awesome. I dislike massage oils that set you on fire or make you feel like someone has doused you in ice cubes.

Now the Please Pleasure Cream. Holy cow. DO NOT APPLY TOO MUCH! Lol I cannot express that enough. I didn’t apply a giant goop the first time, but I applied way too much. A little REALLY does go a long way. This is strong stuff. Start off with a tiny, tiny amount until you and your partner figure out how much they can handle. It is very stimulating. It’s the cold/hot sensation you get with similar clitoral products. It works really well and when you apply the proper amount it feels very good but isn’t too strong. Though if you are sensitive to cold sensations or just don’t like the feeling you might want to avoid this particular product.

Both of the lubes work very well. The cream lube was very rich and velvety. I almost forgot it was a lube and not a cream lotion. It wasn’t sticky or runny and we didn’t need to reapply it. I preferred it over the gel lube. I’m just not a gel type of person. There was nothing wrong with it, I just don’t like gels that much. The gel lube is thick and not so creamy, it has a consistency like aloe gel. It did get a hair sticky towards the end, but barely. It wasn’t runny at all it has a nice consistency. Neither of them really have a scent. If you were someone who was super, super sensitive them you might be able to pick up on something, but it’s not a bad smell and not a perfumey smell.

The little bullet is your standard waterproof bullet. It’s a simple little toy that gets the job done and when combined with the other items in the kit, it makes for a very fun time. It’s not a weak vibrator but not super strong either. It’s basically there for external stimulation.

This is a great little kit. I’d highly recommend it for anyone planning a weekend or even overnight “vacation” or just an intimate night. There is nothing overly sexual in the kit, no blindfolds, handcuffs, feather ticklers. It’s a simple, fun, romantic kit. I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t enjoy it. The products in it are of really great quality and won’t disappoint, especially for the price. It’s only $18.50 for a night or two of fun with your significant other. Plus as a bonus you’ll get lots and lots of uses out of your new little bullet, and the clit/nipple cream will last you quite a while. I think I say this every month. But I really hate my period and what it does to my body/brain. *sigh* At least it started on time again. Hopefully it doesn’t last 10 days this time. While we were in California Jamie bought 2 bars of our black african soap for us. She also gave me a tube of some japanese cleanser she had which is pretty awesome. Only neither are really helping this time. Which really sucks because previously the african black soap was working amazingly for my period breakouts. I guess it doesn’t like me anymore. I’ve been looking at various acne products. I’ve tried proactive and it only works for me as long as I use the green tea moisturizer. Though I’ve also been reading acnepril reviews. I’ll most likely end up not getting anything as usual. I’ll probably stick to my normal soaps. It’s just annoying/frustrating.

Along with all the other issues going on right now both with my period and life, acne isn’t helping.

Life has been a whirlwind since we got home. I’m not sure what’s going to happen. But something is going to change. It has to. I can’t live like this. Nor can my family. My phone and my moms phone are up for upgrades. So we’re going to upgrade them and downgrade and reduce our phone bill by about $175. I guess it’s time to give up the Bluetooth headset eh? Did I mention I saw my brother Tim in California? Well I did, and it was amazing. I didn’t realize how much I truly missed him until he hugged me. I’ve never had a family member outside of Kai/Jamie/my dad hug me that hard and that long. It felt so good. It was so nice to just sit and talk with him and catch up and actually have a brother. God I hope we can see each other again soon. I really need that right now.

The lovely people at Fascinations sent me some kegal balls. I received the K-BALLS No.10 in pink. They also come in blue. They are kind of peanut shaped weighted kegal balls that are white and pink(or blue and white) with a white looped string at one end. Oh these are smooth as well and are available in ribbed. These are made from pure silicone, are Phthalate-free and hypo allergenic. You can clean these with a mild toy cleaner, or warm water and soap. You want to only use water based lubricants with these. Silicone lubricants could damage your K-BALLS. Right now they are on sale for $16.99, normally they’re $19.99. These balls are designed to strengthen your vaginal muscles as well as provide light stimulation.

So I received these a couple of weeks ago but due to my period deciding to grace itself for almost 2 weeks and then us flying to California for a week, I didn’t have much time to try them out. So let’s see. I was able to use them for a couple of days before we left for California. Inserting the K-BALLS is a no brainer. If you’re experienced with tampons and/or toys then this should be a snap. If need be you can use water based lube to insert these, or try inserting them in the shower. They go in fairly easy and have a silicone looped string for removal. Immediate after inserting these I thought to myself “this must be how a jingle bell feels”. Haha no seriously. You can feel the weighted balls moving around and it has almost a jingling sensation if that makes any sense. Other than that you can’t really feel them. As previously stated these are designed to strengthen your vaginal muscles. The idea is you have to squeeze your muscles to keep these in place, aka kegal exercises which in turn makes you more toned and well it is supposed to make you tighter. These would be ideal for anyone who has had a child and wants to tone themselves back up, or the person looking for a little mild stimulation without having to do anything.
