Well, Kai took the bus to work this morning, and shall be taking it to and from work for the next couple of weeks possibly longer. The tags on the car expired yesterday, we don’t have the money to do a smog check and get the tags. The insurance policy expires on the 16th. Apparently they gave my mom a 30 day grace period. Ugh. Hopefully we can find insurance cheap enough. :/ On a side note, Sascha is going out to Michigan for the summer. His grandparents(Sue and Tom) offered to pay for his trip out so he could attend a tutoring program at the university by them. I’m happy and excited for him, and so grateful to Sue and Tom. This will really help Sascha. 
Next school year he’s going into one of the local schools by us. So that’ll be an interesting change for him.
Another side note, so many people I know have laptops that are going to the way side. I keep seeing more and more people with netbooks to tide them over. They’re so tiny and cute.

Ugh, inspection stickers. That reminds me, both our cars are due by the end of March. I think it’s $40 each for emissions, and $30 or so for the inspection. So $140, unless there’s something wrong. Last year we had to replace the brakes on our Hyundai, and a few lights, so that was an extra $185 we weren’t originally anticipating.
I hope you guys are able to get money together to take care of your vehicle and other things soon.
As far as netbooks go, they’re cute, and I’ve thought about getting one, but for my needs — intensive writing — I think I better stick with my 17.3″ laptop and its full-sized keyboard!
I want one of the netbooks so badly!! I don’t even own a laptop and have always been super happy with my desktop. But, the netbooks are just so (like you said) cute!!
Hope your guy’s a good sport – mine would be SO cranky if he had to take the bus. I take the bus all the time on my own, but he is a snob or something, I think because he grew up in Lake O!
