So I got my copper IUC in today. My appointment was at 1:45pm, we left at 1:15pm. What is usually a 20 minute trip took us 45 minutes. There was a multi car accident on 205 and they had closed two of the lanes. Lucky me. Because I was 15 minutes late they canceled my appointment. I had Kai call them to let them know we were going to be late because we were stuck in traffic. They told him we had until 1:55pm, and at that time my appointment would be canceled. Poop! We got there at 2:00pm. So I had to wait for the next cancellation. Which was oh three hours later. The actual insertion went much smoother than I had thought. There wasn’t any pain, just some pressure and minor cramping. Until about 10 minutes after Dr. Wang inserted it. Then I started cramping badly like I was on my period, and oh the bleeding was fun too. She said it should settle down in a couple of days and the bleeding shouldn’t last more than a week. I have to call in and schedule an appointment after my first period so Dr. Wang can make sure it’s still in place. Let’s all hope it stays in. It’s supposed to be more effective than the pill and other contraceptive methods.

Poor little Fumiko is still sick. We talked to Dr. Wang when we were in today. She pretty much said they didn’t really do anything for babies. She told us to do what we’ve already been doing. We did pick up some infants Motrin on the way home just in case it’s needed. But hopefully we won’t need it. We’ve been using one of those sucky bulb thingers to get the mucous out of her nose, which she’s not too fond of by the way. We tried the hot steam last night, but it seemed to make her worse and spiked her fever, so that’s out for now. Ugh there is this annoying white spot on this lcd monitor that is really annoying. Must stop staring at it.

Anyways. I have yet to take pictures of my hair. I guess I will soon. I don’t know. We’ll see. I’m still not 100% happy with it. >_> I want to dye it pink. I have the dye under my sink… But I keep telling myself to wait a little longer. Must hold back urge to dye hair pink! We have an appointment with Sascha’s school in the morning at 9am. We have to sign the contract for first grade. My mom is giving us the $500 for the deposit. So that is at least covered. :/
