There are days when I wish I could just pull the covers over my head and tune them out. There are days when they bring awe and wonder into my life and I wonder how I’ve been given just a beautiful gift. There are days when nothing goes right and they seem to relish in the pleasure of making it worse. There are days when they are happy doing nothing but sitting with me and being held. Regardless of the day, regardless of the issue or triumph this is how I always feel. I love Sascha and Fumiko to death. I don’t know what I would do without either one of them. They are my life. I would be lost without them.

Well we just had a house literally thrown into our laps. A customer of my moms who has become a friend is going to rent us her house. It’s been un-lived in for two years. My mom happened to be talking to her the other day about how we really needed something and how she’d love to have a home big enough to build a practice in as well. Well she told my mom she had a 4 bedroom 3 bath home in Oregon City that she’d be willing to rent out. Not only is she renting it to us but it’s rent to own. It’s a split level home with a two car garage and a huge back yard.

It’s an older home I believe it was built in the 70′s or 80′s. But it’s in decent condition. It’ll take some time to fix it up. It mainly just needs updating. It has old popcorn ceilings which is pretty easy to get rid of. We can’t wait. My mom saw the inside today. When her friend gets back from their vacation we’re going to help them get their stuff out. Our lease is up here on July 30th I believe. We have to hand in our 60 day notice by May 1st. So we’ll be doing that and then we’re going to go through our stuff and purge things we don’t need or use.

But yeah the house has it’s original carpet and everything which is in great condition, but it’s just ugly according to my mom. She said the carpets upstairs are a dark chocolate brown, and the carpets downstairs are a burnt orange/red. lol Lovely. My mom wants to use the downstairs to stay in off and on when she needs a break from her husband and also to start building a practice in that area. It’s about 15 minutes away from where we live now.

My moms friend from GNC is trying to get Kai in across the street, however there’s a spot open right now for an assistant manager in Lake Oswego which is right by Oregon City. It’s also a bit closer to Sascha’s school. We were also told there’s a huge park about a block away from the house. Which is super awesome. So yeah, we’re super excited. We want to start getting it fixed up. We’ll also be saving tons of money a month on rent/utilities. Woot!

I can’t believe we’ll be getting our own home in our own names. Such an amazing blessing.
