It’s been awhile since I ordered these. I actually forgot about them until this past week! I have 3 Waterproof Matte Velvet Lip Gloss Long Lasting Lip Pencils from Born Pretty Store. I have colors #23, #25 & #36. These are actually named Me Now Generation II Long Lasting Lip Gloss. Though they are neither a lip gloss or lip pencil but a liquid lipstick similar to the Velvetines from Lime Crime. I however like these much better!

Official description
1. Matte Velvet Kind.
2. It’s Waterproof, and would Not stick on Cup.
3. it’s better to use the lip balm or based lip items before putting it on your lip.
4. Don’t compress lips after applied the gloss, or it will be sticky.
5. It will looks a little darker if you use lip brush than your hands. so Lip brush is strongly recommended.
6. Oil food would make it fade a little,so you might need to avoid french fries when wearing this lip gloss.
7. Please apply the transparent or similar color powder on your lip if you feel it is sticky.
8. Please use professional makeup remover oil to clean them off from lips.

From Born Pretty Store – Colors #25-36 For $4.18(these are on sale atm for 3.55 USD) USD you get 4.4g in a lip gloss tube with a doe foot wand.

These come in a clear test tube like lip gloss tube with a flat black lid and doe foot wand. It has silver and black detail on the tube.

Scent and formula
The scent is a little odd. It’s kind of a combination of a light fruity scent and vinyl. After a little while the scent goes away. The formula is quite nice, it’s thick and plush when it goes on and dries super matte, but it’s not drying.

I can’t seem to find any ingredients on the internet and it is not listed on the tubes.

#23 is a frosty matte muted rose pink.

#25 is a bright matte raspberry pink.

#36 is a bright matte rose pink.

These are really great. I prefer these over my Pink Velvet Velvetine from Lime Crime. The Velvetine formula is watery and bleeds really bad on me. These are thick and opaque and don’t bleed at all. You can see a comparison in the photos above. They dry super matte, but aren’t drying. Once set, which just takes a minute, they don’t come off. I found that one of these was a tiny bit sticky(#23), still waterproof, but a little sticky. To solve that I just patted a tiny bit of translucent powder where it was sticky and that solved the problem. It only got sticky right along where my lips meet when they’re closed. I can drink with no fading at all. When I eat, it fades a tiny bit, but no touch up is necessary. That’s the great thing, they don’t come off. It’s also not such a great thing. These are nearly impossible to remove. Let me be blunt, this shit don’t come off. xd I’ve tried everything, and ended up actually trying rubbing alcohol. My cleansing oil barely put a dent in it, regular soap doesn’t do a thing, but rubbing alcohol peels this stuff off quick as lightning. Despite being tough as nails to remove, I really like these. I can’t believe I forgot about them for so long. I’m glad I found them again! I want to pick up a couple of more shades. I’ve got my eye on #7, #15 and #22! There are 36 colors total. You should definitely check them out. :) If you decide to pick anything up you can use code UNAT10 to get 10% off your order!

Hello Lovelies!

It is Dreadfully Divine ! I am a writer, self taught MUA,  and occasional blogger who still dreams of becoming an evil warlord. You can find my eyeball of doom (and the occasional rare full face of the days) on various social media. And truth be told I totally suck at bios in case you hadn’t noticed, ^_~  I am completely honored to be part of Toxic Lotus’ guest blogger  Thursday feature! When Luna contacted me about being this week’s guest blogger I will freely admit that I squealed like a school girl at the opportunity since I have been a fan of her blog for a long time.

However, after being asked and accepting I began to freak out and wonder what in the world was I going to do my entry about.

So after pondering what I could possibly do, I turned my attention to Hulu and to my surprise and delight Sailor Moon Crystal had appeared!  Now I have been a Sailor Moon fan since it first came out 22 years ago and I will admit that I was a bit worried with the new reboot and how I would feel about it. But after seeing the first episode I was instantly in love .

Cause honestly, look at the AMAZING ART WORK! It is like the manga and the classic anime had a love child and Sailor Moon Crystal was born. Then it hit me that I needed to do a Sailor Moon Crystal inspired look in honor of the new reboot and I hope to add each of the Sailor Scouts as they appear in the series! But enough of my chattering on to the pictures!

Here is the image I used for inspiration. Isn't it gorgeous?

Behold the Sailor Moon Eye Ball!

Beauty Bar Baby pigments in :  White Chocolate, SnoBall, Blue Hydrangea, Wild Flower, Red Velvet, Black Velvet, Marigold and Miss Daisy

Beauty Bar Baby‘s White and Black Gel Liner

Wolfe FX Essential Palette (for the dots)

Pinky Paradise’s EOS Dolly Blue Lenses

And Moon Princess Lashes D-3 from the Born Pretty Store    Honestly how could I NOT used Moon Princess lashes for this look?

I hope that you enjoyed my guest blogger post and a big THANK YOU to Luna for inviting me join her awesome blog and revel in Toxic Lotus with my Sailor Moon eye.  Be sure to stop by and check out when the next Sailor Scout appears.

(and watch Sailor Moon Crystal! ^_~)
