Scent and formula
Both products have a light fresh citrusy smell. Both formulas are a thick, slightly tinted clear gel. They both lather up quite well.

I used the body wash for about 5 days and the face wash for just over a week. I really liked the smell of these. It’s light and fresh and not overpowering. The scent doesn’t linger after you rinse your face or body. The first day I used these I had no reactions and my skin felt fresh, however after continued use they dried my skin out. The body wash dried my skin out a lot. I found myself having to use moisturizer after each shower, which I haven’t had to do in awhile. I don’t have body acne normally. Occasionally I’ll get a zit on my chest, but that only happens a few times a year. So I can’t tell you how this works with body acne. I have dry skin in general and usually use some kind of soap/body wash/whipped soap that is moisturizing. So that’s probably why this dried my skin out so much. Here is the CosDNA report.
The face wash didn’t dry my face out as bad as the body wash did to my body. Nonetheless it did dry it out. I found that in the time it took me to get out of the shower, dry off and go to my bedroom to start my skin routine my face was dry and tight. I had to use my spray mist more than usual as well. I have combination skin, my cheeks get super dry while my nose and forehead get oily. Since it’s getting cooler my nose and forehead are not getting as oily as usual. I don’t get a lot of acne on my face. It’s usually a zit here or there a few times a month. I really only breakout when I try a new product and it irritates my skin. So while this cleansed well, I don’t know how it works with acne. So the bottom line is, I liked the scent of these, but they just don’t work for my skin. Here is the CosDNA report.
