Swatches: Shiro Cosmetics The Tribute Collection part 01

Today I got to visit Caitlin from Shiro Cosmetics and help out a bit. It was great and I enjoyed meeting her and filling jars. XD She asked me if I’d swatch The Tribute Collection and really like I was gonna say no. >.> So she gave me samples to swatch. I’m glad she did. It was the Tribute collection that I was putting in jars and oh man they’re pretty. Literally every single shade is gorgeous. I’m doing this in two parts, and for this part I have Baker’s Boy, Beyond the Fence, Cornucopia, Ever in Your Favor, Girl on Fire and Huntress. I am in love with Baker’s Boy, Ever in Your Favor and Girl on Fire. I plan on doing a look with Ever in Your Favor and Girl on Fire. Oh yesss. I’m just going to let you see for yourself, and say that these are seriously a million times prettier in person.

Photos were taking indoors under a daylight bulb and swatched over Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer and Darling Girl Cosmetics Glitter Glue.

Review: ES False Eyelashes #A562

Falsies!

KKCenterHk contacted me to try some of their products. I was hoping they’d send me false lashes and they did! I received two different styles, however I’m going to be talking about ES #A562 in this blog post. These are listed in the natural lashes category on the website, but are called glamour lashes. I personally think they’re more natural than glamour. These also have a transparent “stem” instead of the usual black. These run at $16 for 10 pairs of false eye lashes. That’s $1.60 a pair. That’s a great price. These are packaged in a long black box with gold dot stickers holding them in place. The back of the box has instructions on how to apply them in different languages. These are made in Korea.

I’ve gone through two pairs of these lashes since I got them the other week. I screwed up the first pair trimming them. Oops. Though they were still wearable and the lash glue cleaned off of the stem easily. The pair I wore today were much easier to put on and wear. Once I trimmed the stem down and put glue on them they were really easy to put on. Today was the first time I’ve successfully put on false lashes without having to do more than one attempt. YES. They’re comfy, they don’t feel funny on my lids and aren’t heavy. They’re long, but not too long, they don’t bump up against my eyeglass lens. That’s a huge plus. There’s not a whole lot to say. These are comfy, cheap, made well and I like them. They have tons, and tons of eye lash styles and carry other products as well. Take advantage of the code below and get some pretty new lashes. :D

You guys are lucky because KKcenterhk is providing a 10% off coupon for my readers. Use code: BLGA379TO10 for 10% off. :)

Swatches: innocent+twisted alchemy

Soooo. If you haven’t heard of or tried innocent+twisted alchemy you are so missing out. I initially purchased the 10 pod/clam shell samples for $18.00, then I purchased samples of Linda’s remaining colors. Let me first say, OMG.SO.FREAKING.CUTE. I love Linda’s theme. The sample baggies I got with my first order have stickers on both sides of the bag, one side is completely covered and the other has a star cut out so you can see the shadow color. ^.^ The sample pods/clam shells/thingers are stuffed full and have top and bottom labels. She included a pamphlet with the ingredients for each shadow and some cute little cards and a hand written invoice with a cute note. I had no idea she knew about my blog! ^.~

Anyways I have swatched for you shadows #001-#006, which are innocent+twisted #001, innocent #002, twisted #003, silent lucidity #004, poisoned tears #005, and melodies in june #006. I love them all. I was honestly surprised by how pretty these shadows are. They are complex… and beautiful. Don’t shoot me, but they’re just as nice if not nicer than the Aromaleigh shadows I have. *hides* They are that pretty! You can bet your britches you’ll be seeing a giveaway at some point. Most likely after my birthday[1. January 1st!]. I shall be getting my tattoo for my birthday/christmas present and well tattoo > makeup. XD But yes, these are beautiful and I urge you to try them. I am very, very, very pleased with well everything. :D I guess I should let you see the swatches now. I tried taking photos at different angles and with blurryness[2. which is no problem since my lens is a jerkface and likes to not focus.] but honestly the photos do these pretties no justice. :( Also please forgive me if I’ve mislabeled or spelled anything wrong, it’s 6am and I haven’t slept yet. T.T All swatches are done over Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer and Darling Girl Cosmetics Glitter Glue.

Swatches: My Pretty Zombie MDMA Blush

So now that Andrea from My Pretty Zombie has her new awesome drug blushes up I shall show you how pretty MDMA is. Seriously. It’s breathtaking. She made it prettier than I ever imagined, also I’m super happy she finally made duochrome blushes. :D Her shadows are amazing so I had no doubt her blushes would be as well! So now onto my beloved MDMA blush. It’s very sheer and very buildable which I really like. I can use it for just a touch of shimmer or build it up for a pretty bold cheek. I cannot wait to try the other blushes. :D Okay photos!

Swatches: My Pretty Zombie: Husbandry Afflictions!

Okay. I’m in love with this trio. It beats the pants off of the mNg trio. For serious. Love, love, love it! Andrea outdid herself here. And of course Anthrax is my favorite of the trio… And not just because I suggested the name to Andrea, it’s freaking amazing! Because Andrea is the awesomest person ever that she is, she sent me a set for myself AND a set to give away. ;) One lucky person will be able to win them along with some other goodies in my 100 follower giveaway which I’ll be posting as soon as I get the lippies from Morgana Cryptoria! So uh once my giveaway is over you all need to get your butts over to My Pretty Zombie and order these! You won’t be sorry. Seriously these photos do them no justice, they’re 10 times more beautiful in person.
