Where to buy
From Amazon – You get a 2.75 fluid ounce bottle for $24.95 USD.

Directions
Exfoliation is key for maintaining youthful, healthier skin and for proper penetration of serums. Exfoliation should be done 2-3 times a week. Dispense roughly a nickel size amount into the palm of the hand, and mix in a tiny amount of fresh water-just enough to make a thin liquid paste. Next, apply to face, neck, and décolleté (or any area of the body that needs to be exfoliated.) Rub in a circular motion, making about 3-4 passes over the entire area(s). It is recommended to leave on the skin for at least 5 minutes, so the key ingredients will have time to absorb into the pores. It is also recommended to use this product in the shower, so the heat will open the pores and assist with product penetration. Use while showering is also best in order to completely rinse away all of the residue afterwards. After exfoliating, pat skin dry, follow with OZ Naturals toner, then serums, next moisturizer, and lastly eye treatment.

Packaging
This comes in a cardboard box that has company and product information on it. It is a white plastic bottle with a silver twist to open cap.

Scent and formula
This has an herbal almost astringent scent. It’s a fine almost white, slightly gritty powder.

Ingredients
Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Powder (bamboo powder), sucrose, lactic acid, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (green tea powder), panthenol (provitamin b-5), Thioctic Acid (alpha lipoic acid).

Okay so the formula and name were changed. This was formerly called Ancient Orient Rice Enzyme Dermafoliant and had rice powder in it, it no longer has rice powder and instead uses bamboo powder. The ingredients on the bottle are old ingredients, but they were updated on the box, and the name on the packaging is the old name. With that said, I have been using this for about a month and a half. It’s a wonderful scrub. It only takes a tiny amount mixed with water to create a really effective exfoliating scrub. This has a really interesting smell, it’s herbal and a little spicy and also kind of astringent like. I quite like it. The first time I used this I made the mistake of using way too much powder and then scrubbed my face too much. I made it raw. It literally takes the smallest amount and there is no need to use a lot of pressure or to scrub for a long amount of time for this to be effective. The lid has a tendency to twist all the way off when you’re trying to open it and it doesn’t quite seal all the way so if you get the bottle wet while it’s closed, water can still get inside. Those are the only two issues I have with this product though. It’s a wonderful product. After using this my face is soft and smooth. This isn’t drying either like some scrubs can be. I use this 2-3 times a week and it has improved the way my skin looks and feels. I’ve also noticed that I use smaller amounts of my serums and moisturizer since I started using this. This is also paraben free, vegan and cruelty free.

Official description
The Tangerine Tingle Face Scrub is so much fun! It can be used as a face wash or a face mask. The longer you leave it on the more it tingles! The tingling action is from the ingredients in the scrub doing two things: (1) removing dead skin cells, and (2) stimulating production in new, fresh skin cells. Contains gentle exfoliating ingredients which remove oil, dirt, and impurities. Contains glycolic acid which exfoliates dead skin cells and keeps pores from clogging. Lemon oil helps improve and brighten complexion.

  • Exfoliates dead skin cells
  • Contains brightening glycolics and lemon ingredients for glowing skin
  • Natural fun tangerine scent
  • Tingles when left on skin for over 30 seconds

Where to buy
From Citrus Clear – You get a 2 ounce jar for $18.99 USD.

Directions
Wash face with warm water. As a face wash, use circular motions to gently exfoliate skin. As a mask, allow product to remain on skin for 2-4 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Some users may experience a slightly reddish appearance after use. This is to be expected from the citrus extracts and glycolics in the scrub. The redness may last for 1-5 minutes, before disappearing into fresh, new skin.

Packaging
This comes in a clear glass jar with a white screw on cap. There is a seal to remove when you first get it. The label has company and product information. The cap has an orange sticker on it.

Scent and formula
This stuff is kind of cool. It’s like a squishy jelly! It has jojoba beads in it so it’s gritty for exfoliation, but it’s so fun to poke. It smells like tangerine/mandarin soda. I’m not kidding, you can smell fizz. It’s just so much fun. >.> I am not 3. Don’t judge me.

Ingredients
Organic citrus herbals, organic aloe barbadensis leaf juice(aloe vera), olea europaea (olive seed), citrus nobilis (tangering essential oil), citrus paradisi (pink grapefruit essential oil), methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), jojoba beads, hydroxyethyl cellulose, carrageenan gum, fd&c yellow #6, sodium ascorbyl phoshate (vitamin c), organic rheum palmaturn (rhubarb), organic vaccinium angustifolium (blueberry), wildcrafted melissa officinalis (lemon balm), citrus grandis (graperuit seed extract), citrus aurantiium (orange hydrosol), citrus limon (lemon essential oil), citrus aurantifolia (lime essential oil), citrus reticulata (mandarin essential oil), citrus aurantium dulcis (orange peel extract), mentha piperita (peppermint essential oil), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, ethyl hexyl glycerin. CosDNA analysis

So I was contacted in May by someone from Citrus Clear asking if I’d like to try out their products. I checked out their site and thought the products looked nice so I said yes. I decided to try the Tangerine Tingle, which I’m reviewing now and another product which I will be reviewing shortly. They sent the products out pretty quickly and I have been trying them out for awhile. The Tangerine Tingle is absolutely fabulous. It’s a super fun product and it works well. The texture is bouncy and jelly like and squishy and it’s just fun to play with. But it cleanses and exfoliates well when used as a scrub. My skin feels super smooth after using it like this. When used as a mask and left on for a few minutes it gets a little tingly and it’s cooling. After use my skin feels smooth and supple and it’s glowy. It just looks fresh and healthy and feels awesome. It’s been awhile since I’ve found a product that is fun to use and works really well. I like this stuff a lot. It needs to come in a bigger jar! xd

So overall I’m extremely happy with this product and also really grateful that Citrus Clear contacted me to try out their stuff. I probably never would have found this to try if they hadn’t. Also I mentioned way up there ^ that this smells like tangerine/mandarin soda. It really does. It smells so freaking good. It smells fizzy and reminds me of a soda I use to drink as a child. It’s delicious guys. Also I will be doing a post about the company soon. It’s a nice little company. I hadn’t heard of it before, but I’m really digging their products.
