Class & Tea

Tonight is my make-up class, for the last class I missed. o_O I don’t know if I’ll be able to go. I really need to. I don’t want to miss any information. But it depends on whether or not I’m feeling okay. Hopefully I’ll feel better later today. It’s the last class on the death process and it’s something I don’t want to miss.

The other day when we were at the store I was looking for Grandma’s Tummy Mint Tea, by Celestial Seasonings. We couldn’t find it at all! I looked on their website and they don’t have it anymore. :( I grew up on that tea and Sleepytime tea. So I ended up getting another mint tea by Celestial Seasonings. It’s called Mint Magic. It’s actually very tasty. It sort of helps with my nausea, but not much. Still a little bit is a little bit I suppose. That’s better than nothing, right? Anyways, the ingredients are: Spearmint, peppermint, roasted chicory, cinnamon and orange peel. I think I actually like the flavour better than the grandma’s tummy mint tea. I’m just sort of sad to see something I grew up on, gone! Again! -.- I mean, when i was a toddler my parents used to give me either the tummy mint tea or the sleepytime tea when I was ill or had stomach troubles, which was alot. They were the only things that helped ease it. I’ve even used them both for Sascha. So poo.

Onto finishing up the shelf talkers! Whee. x_X It’s taking so long, because I’m doing them in between being nauseas and tired. Hopefully I can get them finished soon! Oh! Thanks to my friend Kharizma I now know what Fumiko means! I’ve been searching for a long time to see what it means, but I couldn’t ever find it on regular name sites. :) But she found a place that has the meaning. Fumiko means child of treasured beauty! I love it! Now I like the name even more. :D

Ear Candling

Our ear candles came a few days ago! I’m so excited. We order them from a lady who uses herbs, crystal essences, flower essences, essential oils and charges them with reiki. They’re wonderful and they smell delicious. I’ve already practiced on Kai, Sascha and my mom. :D I let Kai do my ears and he did great. We’re going to be selling some of them at our shop, but I’ll also be using them for other people. The wonderful thing about ear candles, is when they’re made with other ingredients they go beyond the physical and begin to work on the energetic. They’re useful for far more than just ear and sinus problems. :)

Coning Works is another company we order from. She has equally amazing candles, that are different from the other ones we use. :) They both have their own unique formulas for making them. However she has lots of information on her website about ear candling and how they’re made and work! One of the reasons I’m so excited about these candles, is because they work on the chakras. You can work one by one on each chakra until you feel you should move on, or you can use one of the candle sets that has been made for all of the chakras. <3

Make-Up Days!

I just realized my make-up class is next week on May 15th. It’s at 6:30pm. I didn’t go to my last shamanic class because I was ill. -.- Hopefully there won’t be a problem making this one. That all depends on whether or not things have eased up by then! Hopefully they have. It’s the last class on the death process, and it’s all very interesting! :D

Yesterday Kiyoshi went in to get neutered… He came home a little groggy and smelling like the vet. Eww. Last night I noticed his eyes were still red. It seems he was having a small allergic reaction to the gas/local anesthesia they gave him. I gave him some homeopathics, and some zeolite. This morning he’s doing well. :) Well, he’s a little jumpy but I would be too if I had to go get snipped by people I didn’t know. In about two weeks we can put Eevee and Kiyoshi in the same cage again. It takes that long for the hormones in his body to settle down, and for his little friends to die off. We’re hoping his little nervous chewing habit dies off as well.
