Where to buy
From Amazon – You get 1 fluid ounce for $39.99 USD. However right now it’s on sale for $19.95 USD.

Directions
Apply to clean skin on face, neck, and décolleté day or night. Can be used under makeup. To prime the airless pump and extend the pump head, twist the silver cap counterclockwise until you hear a click. This locks the airless pump head in place and ready for use. When storing or traveling with your moisturizer, turn the silver cap in the opposite direction to hide the pump head in the silver cap.

Packaging
This bottle is neat. It’s a clear plastic bottle with a silver rim and white pump top. However inside the clear bottle is a white bottle. You twist the silver rim at the top and the pump pops up and locks into place. It has pink gradient butterflies on the clear bottle with product and company information in black text.

Scent and formula
The scent is very light. It smells lightly of citrus. It just smells fresh. The scent doesn’t linger it disappears after it’s absorbed into the skin. It’s a lightweight cream formula. It’s white in color. It’s easily absorbed and is not oily at all but is moisturizing.

Ingredients
Water (Aqua), Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Gel, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water, Aspalathus Linearis (Rooibos) Leaf Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Potassium Hydrolyzed (Oat) Protein, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, Organic Cocas Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus Dulcis (Almond) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Esters, Organic Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Plukenetia Volubilis (Sachi Inchi) Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Squalene (Olive) Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Oil, Organic Rosa Rubiginosa (Rose Hip Seed) Oil, Borago Officinalis (Borage) Oil, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Oil, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Seed Oil, Organic Linum Usitatissimum (Flax Seed) Oil, Astrocaryum (Murumuru) Seed Butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Butter, D-Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Ascorbic 2 – Glucoside (Vitamin C), Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B-5), Thioctic Acid (Alpha Lipoic), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Argania Spinosa (Argan) Sprout Cell Extract, Glycerin (Kosher), Propanediol (Corn), Glyceryl Oleate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Allantoin, Caprylhydroxamic Acid and Caprylyl Glycol.

I’ve been using this moisturizer from Oleavine Beauty for about a couple of weeks and I really like it. It’s not oily on my skin and absorbs quickly and thoroughly. The scent is a light citrus smell and is not overpowering in any way and fades after it’s absorbed into the skin. Oleavine claims that it is All Natural, Preservative Free, Paraben Free, Petroleum Free, Pthalate Free, Sulfate Free, Silicone Free, Cruelty Free, Gluten Free, Allergy Friendly and Non-Greasy. It’s supposed to help lock in moisture and improve texture and tone of your skin. It has ingredients that help fight wrinkles, reduce inflammation and plump and smooth your skin. So what do I think? I had to reactions from using this moisturizer which is really great! I noticed that my skin is more supple and plump after using it and that the over all texture of my skin since I started using it has been a little smoother. My skin stayed moisturized without being oily or greasy which is a huge deal for me. Many moisturizers I try either don’t moisturize enough leaving my skin dull and dry or they make me a grease ball which is so gross. This was also very soothing. I’ve had issues with cystic acne lately and this last week was really bad. Normally it’s extremely painful and the whole area is red and inflamed. However after using this it wasn’t as red or inflamed and the discomfort was a little more bearable. I can’t attest to how this works on wrinkles or fine lines. I don’t have any I think it requires more usage than I’ve given it to see any results. I’ve been really pleased with this moisturizer and when I have the funds I’d like to continue using it! One more thing! One of the things I really like about this moisturizer is that they use little to no heat to create it, which means your ingredients are staying pretty true to form and not being altered by heat. Altering ingredients can change the way they work. They also provide a 90 day money back guarantee. So if you don’t like it you can return it with no questions asked. =] You can find Oleavine Beauty on Facebook.

Review: BRI Nutrition’s Fucoxanthin

press sample

Official description
FUCOXANTHIN IS GREAT FOR WEIGHT LOSS
Fucoxanthin is being studied for its weight loss properties. In a recently concluded study, they have found out that this seaweed is able to facilitate the abdominal fat in obese animals that were subjected to the experiment. Animals have lost five to ten percent of their body weight effectively with the help of fucoxanthin. Fucoxanthin is also found helpful of the production of DHA, which is one of the Omega 3 fatty acids that can only be found in fatty fish like salmon. Owing to all these astounding health experiment, fucoxanthin is now being developed as a powerful diet pill to combat obesity.

FUCOXANTHIN MAY DECREASE DIABETES
Fucoxanthin is effective in decreasing insulin and stabilizing blood glucose levels. Health experts have theorized that fucoxanthin anti-diabetes can be highly attributed to the active development of DHA (the Omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil). DHA is the main component that’s responsible for increased insulin sensitivity, boosts triglycerides and helps reduce the LDL or otherwise know as the ‘bad’ cholesterol in the body which is perfect for those who are suffering from a diabetic condition.

FUCOXANTHIN THE THERMOGENIC ENGINE
Fucoxanthin is best known for its thermogenic properties, meaning it really helps in burning fat fast. Fucoxanthin works by turning up our internal body heat, which eventually creates an increased overall metabolism rate. When you have an improved metabolism, chances are you will effectively burn fat fast and will not store unwanted fats. Even studied bolster this claim as they revealed dramatic differences in fat loss between those who have supplemented with fucoxanthin and those who did not.

FUCOXANTHIN IS NATURAL
Fucoxanthin found in brown seaweed is a perfect alternative for those who want to lose weight, in addition to exercising on a regular basis; plus, it does not stimulate the central nervous system, as many weight loss supplements do. Hence, you will not experience any harmful side effects. So, you may enjoy a natural and healthy boost in your energy levels as you drop as much as five to ten percent of your body weight naturally.

FUCOXANTHIN IN YOUR DAILY DIET
There are a hundred and one ways you can incorporate fucoxanthin in your daily diet. You can eat them fresh, add them to your soup, pasta, or salad. But you will most benefit in seaweed if you eat them raw, so as much as possible try snack on fresh brown seaweeds or use them to garnish your favorite home dish. For those who can’t endure the taste of raw brown seaweed, try popping the supplement form and still enjoy its many health benefits today.

FUCOXANTHIN AN OVERALL WINNER
The many health benefits of brown seaweed have been made public in over six hundred scientific articles in The National Library of Medicine. Research shows that the therapeutic properties of fucoxanthin include immune system boost, relief of the digestive disorders, controls allergy, lowers high cholesterol levels, fights prostate cancer ,enhances live functions, regulates blood pressure as well as blood sugar, cures diabetes, has anti-oxidant properties, effective for weight loss, and makes way for the promotion of healthy hair and skin.

WHAT IS FUCOXANTHIN AND WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?
The medicinal wonders and therapeutic benefits of seaweeds have been discovered and used for centuries now. These sea plants are widely used for their tried and tested ability to enhance overall health, ward of diseases, and more. Over the past few decades and after several scientific studies; researchers have revealed that brown seaweed is the most potent of all seaweeds.

The brown seaweed otherwise known as laminaria? japonica or kombu? Is rich in fucoidan, alginates, laminarin, organic iodine, fucoxanthin, and other minerals. These plants have long been used in countries in the East for their powerful nutritional value and these plants have been fast making its way into the West. Bursting with vitamins and nutrition, seaweeds gives anyone a boost in healthy and longevity. One of the main components of these plants is Fucoxanthin, it is the pigment that safeguards the plant from the harmful effects of the sun as it stay afloat in the water’s surface.

Where to buy
From BRI Nutrition – You get 60 capsules for $19.97 USD.

Directions
As a dietary supplement, take one (1) to two (2) capsules in the morning and one (1) to two (2) capsules in the late afternoon with 8 oz. of water. Do not exceed four (4) capsules per day.

Packaging
I received a clear blue plastic bottle with a white screw on cap. The label is a picture of a rose hip and has the product information and company information. When you remove the cap you’ll find a foam seal and then cotton inside. There is also one of those moisture pack things inside. The product is a light taupe powder inside of a clear gelatin capsule.

Scent and formula
It smells slightly of sea weed and gelatin.

Ingredients
Fucoxanthin, Green Tea Extract, Certified South African Hoodia Gordonii Cactus powder, Pomegranate Extract, gelatin, cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and stearic acid.

I received my Fucoxanthin from BRI Nutrition and I used it for a month and had some good results! I ended up losing 5 pounds and my doctor commented that I looked like I’d lost weight! This is a very simple formula. It has Fucoxanthin from Brown Seaweed extract, Green Tea Extract, Hoodia and Pomegranate Extract. There are no stimulants like caffeine! This is supposed to increase your metabolism, help burn fat and help stabilize blood glucose levels. I did notice while I was on this that my blood sugar started to go too low at lunch time and dinner after I’d taken this, so I ended up having to reduce the amount of insulin I took during those times when I was on this. This didn’t make me nervous or shaky and it didn’t make me sick to my stomach. I didn’t have any fucoxanthin side effects. Overall it was easy to use with no apparent issues! I went to BRI Nutrition’s website and checked the fucoxanthin reviews and they were all pretty good. These fucoxanthin pills are actually gelatin capsules with a taupey colored powder inside. Overall it’s been a pretty good weight loss supplement. This is also supposed to be good for healthy hair and skin, allergies, digestive disorders, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and other things. Definitely check this out! It’s an all around good product.
